Fernando Gal\u00e1n is a Doctor in Physiotherapy and Osteopath. He has extensive professional experience in the field of university teaching, having been a lecturer at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos since 2000 and co-director, along with Ra\u00fal Mart\u00ednez<\/a><\/strong><\/span>He is a member of the Expert Course in Assessment and Treatment of the Fascial System at the European University of Madrid. He also participates in various Official Masters and Expert Courses organised by the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and the Universidad Europea de Madrid.<\/p>

In parallel to his teaching activity, he has accumulated extensive professional experience in the general clinical context and, notably, in the field of sports physiotherapy. His research work based on the study of myofascial pain, in direct collaboration with the Department of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, led him to obtain his doctorate in November 2010 with outstanding cum laude with his thesis on \"alterations in nociceptive processing in women with myofascial myofascial temporomandibular disorder\". In addition to these significant scientific merits, she actively participates in the line of research currently being developed by Ra\u00fal Mart\u00ednez on the assessment and treatment of muscle injuries.<\/p>
