Sergio Parra
I began my university studies in 2006 with a double degree in Physiotherapy and Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CCAFyD). The demands of these years of training as a physiotherapist and physical trainer did not prevent me from working with different sportsmen and sports teams as a coach with special dedication to volleyball teams (sport in which I studied my master's degree in CCAFyD).
In order to improve my training as a physiotherapist specialising in manual therapy, I took the Master's Degree in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at the European University of Madrid and, like the rest of my colleagues, I also took part in the Expert Course in Assessment and Treatment of the Fascial System at the same university.
In my professional life I have combined my aforementioned activity as a volleyball coach and physiotherapist at the American School of Madrid with a close relationship with Aravaca C.F., a sports club in which I carry out different functions aimed at the prevention and treatment of sports injuries with both the first team and the lower categories.

Aware of the need to update my knowledge in the field of body movement, I have recently completed the complete training in Kinetic Control and I am currently immersed in the study of muscle injuries from the perspective of both ultrasound and elastography.
