PHYSIOTHERAPY - OSTEOPATHY - PILATES

Inés Rodríguez-Viñas

I graduated in Physiotherapy from the Francisco de Vitoria University in 2008. That same year I studied the course of Expert in Manual Therapy at the same university. With the intention of giving my profession a broader focus, I moved to the Netherlands to do an extensive internship in a clinic specialising in the treatment of sports injuries and general traumatology as well as a multidisciplinary course for health professionals at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.

After this international experience, in 2009 I began my osteopathy studies at the University of Alcalá de Henares, which I would complement, years later, with specialised training in the assessment and treatment of the fascial system. Shortly afterwards, in 2010, I completed an expert training in Pilates-based rehabilitation at the Complutense University of Madrid, which would gradually become decisive in my understanding of our profession and the needs of each of the patients who come to Tensegrity.

At present, thanks to my training in the Pilates method, both on a machine and on the floor, I can offer our patients specialised and complete care, not only from the perspective of manual therapy but also from the field of functional rehabilitation and recovery. Especially in those patients who suffer from different spinal pathologies and with whom, by working on their strength, elasticity and body control, we are able to restore and optimise their physical condition and quality of life.
